How it works
Moisture in a speaker grill muffles sound and can leave residue as it dries. A strong, repeating tone vibrates the driver so droplets migrate outward.
-
01
Dry the outside
Wipe the phone with a soft cloth. Do not plug it in or use heat guns, rice bowls, or hair dryers on high heat.
-
02
Run the tone
Tap Start blower. A pulsed mid-frequency tone loops while a three-minute guide timer counts down — longer sessions are fine if sound still sounds dull.
-
03
Check clarity
Stop the tone and play a familiar song. Repeat if needed. If liquid entered deeper ports, power off and seek a repair shop.
FAQ
Short answers for the first time you use fixmyspeacker.cgls.
Will this damage my speakers?
No. The tone is ordinary audio playback — similar energy to playing music at a high volume for a short time.
Does it work on every phone?
It works on most phones with external speakers (iPhone and Android). Results vary with how much water is trapped and where the speaker sits.
Do I need an app?
No. Open fixmyspeacker.cgls in any modern mobile browser and tap the blower. Nothing to install.
How long should I run it?
Often 10–30 seconds helps. We show a three-minute recommended window so you can leave it running while you dry the body of the phone.
